Purchasing a Puppy from Gap View
At Gap View Ranch & Kennel we are all about our beautiful Golden Retriever puppies. If you've been on the fence about adding one of our pups to your family, consider scheduling a visit to the ranch in order to spend some quality time with the dogs and better inform your decision (Though keep in mind we may or may not have puppies available at the time of your visit). Once you've set your mind to the adoption process, we recommend that you contact us to discuss reserving your puppy from a current or future litter. Please call us to set up an appointment to visit our kennel at 540-896-7327.
Please check out our "Litters" page for more information and pricing on our current and future litters that are up for adoption!

The Adoption Process
- The Visit: We would like for you to come visit our facilities and meet our Golden Family. If you cannot visit before a litter is born, we understand; you can begin to make your choice by viewing the website and speaking with us. We will help you choose the dog that will best suit your family and lifestyle!
- The Puppy Contract: Once you've decided on a litter and when you'd like to pick your puppy from it, make sure to fill out our Puppy Contract and mail it in to the ranch (Post Mail only!). The contract acts as your proverbial place in the adoption line. Say you know that you'd like to make an adoption, but would prefer to wait until a year from now; if you send in your dated contract stating when you'll want a puppy, chances are that you will be at the top of the list to get the puppy when you want.
- Pick up: After the pups have had their 6/7 week checkup and 1st vaccination, they are ready to go home with you! The final payment is due on pickup, after which you will be granted full ownership of your new retriever (Cash Only!). Allow for 1-2 weeks at pick up, we like to go over everything in our puppy packet and answer any questions you may have about taking your new family member home.
- Stay in Touch: We encourage you to stay in touch after you leave; whether it be through email, mentions on our social media, or even the occasional letter, we always love to see pictures and hear about the puppies' lives with their new families!
